Baby Jogger City Mini Single Stroller - Orange/Grey Review

Buy Baby Jogger City Mini Single Stroller - you won't regret it.5
I bought this stroller for my son when we moved over to the States in November - he had just turned 3 months. The stroller replaced a broken lightweight 4 wheel umbrella style one that I had for my daughter. Oh how I wish I'd discovered this stroller earlier! Although I bought the stroller for my son, it's just as easy to push with my 3 and a half year old in. It's a million times more manageable than the umbrella style one. It just glides around and I love the fact that you can push it with one hand - 1 finger really! It reclines almost flat and my son looks extremely comfortable in it - certainly more comfortable than the umbrella one. In fact the same goes for my daughter - and she's above average in height for her age. I think the best thing about it though, is the clever fold up system. You just grab the handle in the middle and it folds in half. It's quick, it takes one hand and the stroller itself is so light. If you have to use public transport and need to have your baby in one hand and fold your stroller with the other you can do so with no trouble. Initially I thought it would take up more space in the trunk than the umbrella one but not the case. I find the square shape so much more convenient than having an umbrella one that stretches all the way across the boot. And it folds so flat that you can put things on top of it as well. I suppose it you're looking for a con, your not supposed to hang bags of the handle. Well I bought the change bag that attaches to the side of the stroller and, although expensive it is without a doubt a worthwhile purchase.
The hood is fantastic - it is so huge that I can't see us needing to buy any kind of sunshade for sunny days and the windows mean you can check your child without having to peak around the hood. I also love the grey and orange colour - not too bright or garish and not boring either.
I thought it was good value for money but the accessories are not particularly cheap - you do have to buy the rain cover as it doesn't come with one. And if you start buying the car seat adapter, parents console etc, costs could build up significantly. But I would still recommend this puschair to anyone - I think it's probably the best baby purchase I've made!

Great stroller, will last several children and then some...5
Yes, so basically, this stroller is indestructible. I have had it for over a year and used it daily. It still looks like new. It hides dirt well (I have the orange gray) and the material stays cool in the summer. The shade is great - it nearly covers completely and has two windows for peaking in on the little one. The ride is very smooth and it turns on a dime. This stroller will NOT tip over on you. The storage basket on the bottom is quite large and easy to access. It dips down almost to flat and my son sleeps comfortably in it.
I took it into the city (NYC) for a walk with the kiddie, to see the sites. It held up beautifully.
My only caveat is that it is neither light nor compact, although my dad disagrees (he feels it's just fine, I guess for my wimpy girly arms it felt a little heavy). It folds up pretty tight, but holding it for all those blocks of walking was a little uncomfortable after a while. However, there is an option to attach a shoulder strap to it. I will try that next time to see if there is a difference with navigation.
All in all, especially if you live in the city, this is the only stroller you should buy.

Super Easy to Push, Great Shade5
I have been through 4 strollers over the past 5 years with my kids, and by far I love this one the best. What does it for me is the ease of turning with one hand, the super ease in which I can put it in my Jeep (one hand fold) and the best part - THE SHADE! If you ever do early morning or late day walks you know what I mean when I say the sun kinda "creeps underneath" the typical stroller shade. Not this one. It comes all the way down and covers my baby. I started using this when my daughter was just weeks old, now at 8 mos she still loves it. You will need the accessory tray from Baby Jogger, it carries your drink, keys, misc toys, snacks, etc. I love this stroller, try to get it on sale though. My recommendation? Just get whatever color they have on sale - it doesn't matter, just get it, you'll love it!

great buy!!5
I chose this stroller after reading positive reviews at epinions.com and I couldn't be happer with my purchase, this stroller is high quality and worth the price... and it's taller than the average stroller. I'm 5'10 and most strollers feel a little short for me.. but this is so comfortable for me to push.

Great stroller but too bulky & heavy3
I have been using this stroller with my 17 month old from the day she was born. The car seat attachment made it very easy to use my Grace Safe Seat. The car seat straps in. The seat that the stroller came with was also very is to install. It just snaps in but is very secure. The seat can be faced forward or facing you and it's very easy to change positions. Lots of storage space in the basket underneath. I've used it on bumpy sidewalks and gravel trails for over a year. Tires are rugged yet very quiet. It doesn't have that plastic sound that other strollers have when you push it. So far, it has held up very well. Here are my complaints:
WEIGHT: The stroller is heavier than I was expecting. Don't even try lifting it for a few months if you've had a c-section.
EASE OF FOLDING: To fold the stroller, you have to squeeze these two triggers to fold the handle and push down. For me, I always have a hard time getting the triggers to squeeze at the same time to fold the thing. I keep having to squeeze one at a time.
BULKY: It also takes up a lot of space. I used to have a 2002 Nissan Altima and the stroller took up the majority of the trunk space. We've since gotten a GMC Acadia with the 3rd row seats. This will fits just fine as long as the 3rd row is folded down. It's a tight fit with the 3rd row up.
3 WHEELS VS 4: I wish I had gotten the 4 wheels instead of the 3 wheel. There are times when it felt like the stroller would topple if I didn't watch it on turns. Four wheels would have been more stable.
SIZE OF SEAT: My 17-month old is 31 inches tall and her head is already touching the top of the seat. I'm expecting my 2nd baby and was thinking about getting the Tandem version of this stroller but there's no way my 17-month old will fit by the time the baby is born which is only a few months away.

Best stroller ever!5
My son loves this stroller. We've had him in it since day one. I like that it comes with the carseat attatchment, we have a graco safeseat, and it's so easy to just set the carrier in it when he's asleep...there is a strap you put over the carrier and you're ready to go. I love the way the seat faces both directions. This was a selling point for me. I can change the direction he's facing while he's sitting in it! It rolls very smoothly.
I found out that to fold it up the seat has to be facing out. We have a 05 Civic and this stroller takes up half of our trunk. This is a little frustrating, but it's worth it to have a roomy stroller for him, and a place for me to store my shopping bags, purse, and diaper bag. The basket on the bottom is very large...we can fit his diaper bag, my purse, a blanket, and a few shopping bags in it.
We have the stroller that has the cup holder/tray across his lap. I love this option. I put his juice in the cup holder and a few puffs on the tray and he is snacking down the mall.
The recline options are great. When he was younger I would recline the seat all the way for him to sleep and it was great...a bed on wheels. I like to keep the seat all the way up now because when it is his canopy will cover the entire area to the tray. A great option for public places during flu season.
This stroller is heavy, but it's also heavy duty. It's worth the weight.
I highly recommend this stroller...I'm a first time mom and I researched forever. Like I mentioned before, the selling point for me was that the seat faces both ways, but I have been soooooooo pleased with this stroller.
We did get an umbrella stroller to put in the other car so we wouldn't have to switch back and forth.

Better Than A BOB -I Promise!5
Why are people so 'in love' with their BOB Strollers? Personally, I believe it is because they are trendy -nothing else. Baby Jogger City Classic is better than a BOB and here are the reasons why: the handle is adjustable (the BOB's is not), the seat is removable and washable (the BOB's is not), the stroller folds down with Baby Jogger's patented 1-step handle (the BOB folds down in 2 steps), the area where your toddler's feet go is hard black plastic, which can be wiped clean (the BOB's foot area is material and gets gross & nasty because it can't be washed), your baby can almost lay down flat (the BOB doesn't recline that flat). So with all these reasons why do people continue to have a shallow love affair with BOB Strollers? Anyways, I love my stroller! It is so easy to push and I love that the shade cover is extremely large. I never bought the car seat adapter because the seat reclines to almost flat; with the shade pulled down it acts like a cocoon! This stroller is so cool that it should have its own theme music!
I also owned the double jogger and it was a fantastic stroller, too.

Great product5
We ordered this stroller mainly because of the jump seat attachment. We wanted a stroller that would accommodate two kids for when we have our second. My daughter really likes the stroller and it is easy to maneuver around. It is a little wide, but most jogging strollers are. The fold up is easy, although it is a little heavy: I can fold it with one hand, but I need two hands to lift it into the back of my SVU. I love how the stroller reclines and the basket at the bottom is quite roomy. Would highly recommend this stroller.

Best all around stroller out there!5
I love this stroller! If you are only going to purchase one stroller this is the one to get. I live in an urban area and mostly walk and jog on paved paths, however sometimes I take the stroller on dirt paths and it is just fine. I have used both the Bob and the Phil and Ted's stroller and by far the baby jogger is easier to use, lighter, and handles better. I love how easy it folds up, I can do it with one hand. It's so easy to take the stoller apart to put the material in the washing machine. It is well made and durable. I did have a small problem and the company replaced the frame immediately. Great customer service.

Jeep Liberty Limited 3 Wheel All Terrain Stroller Review

Awesome Stroller!4
After 4 strollers, I finally found one that my 10 month old son just loves! I also find it safe because of the 5 point harness. His other strollers just had the waist belt which he actually fell out of. I will never use it again! My son usually hates riding in strollers, but this one he doesn't mind. He loves playing with the steering wheel and music buttons. I also take him walking and enjoy listening to my i-pod. Even though its a running stroller i use it for everthing. I use it when we go shopping because the driving wheel and music buttons keep him occupied. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because its pretty heavy for me to lug around. Also, it would be better if the steering wheel were a little closer to him. But i guess as he gets older he'll be able to reach it easier. Other than that I'd reccomend this stroller to anybody!

We Love Our Jeep!!5
We LOVE our Jeep Stroller! It's nice and roomy for baby and Mom. The tires make bumps and rough road easy to travel. The front swivel wheel makes it very easy to steer with one hand.
Like other posters, we love that the front basket can catch anything that baby drops.
The harness to buckle baby in is very big, it's loose on my son (who is 1 year, but the size of a 9-month old baby). The stroller itself does not fold compactly, but fits fine in the back of both of our Jeeps.
We had a problem with a bent wheel (our fault - not the strollers). I called Kolcraft and they sent a replacement for free in less than a week.
Caution: This is NOT a jogging stroller!

Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 Travel system Review

After spending a lot of time testing strollers in store, this one was absolutely my choice. My husband and I are both very tall and this is so comfortable to push around relative to height. I was actually delighted by how light the car seat/carrier was, and I thought the fold up was a breeze compared to some of the bulky Gracos we tested. Positioning the seat for forward facing use (without the carrier) was also very easy. The car base is extremely secure and clicks into place so you can tell its in there properly. Frankly when it comes to ease of use I can't imagine anything else better than the Cortina system. I have read some places that the carrier does not fit in shopping carts. That does not bother me, we use the baby carrier or sling when shopping or just take the stroller in and put items underneath in the storage compartment. As a first time mom I am very impressed with this item and consider it a great value for the price.

Graco SnugRider Infant Car Seat Stroller Frame Review

I did a lot of research on infant car seat strollers and was a bit disillusioned by the two that were out there (the Kolcraft Universal and the Snap-N-Go). Reviews for both items showed concerns in using them with a Graco SnugRide (which was my carseat of choice). While some parents mentioned that they both worked great with their SnugRide car seat, there were just as many that had concerns that the strollers didn't fit that model of car seat well and worried of the two popping apart. Examining both of them up close, I could understand why there might be mixed reviews considering all the minor adjustments you have to tweak depending on which car seat you are using.
I guess this Graco stroller recently came out because I hadn't seen it before, but as soon as I did, I purchased it. I was amazed by how easy it was to put together. You really don't need the instruction manual to figure it out, and each of the parts fit together with a very satisfying snap that lets you know that part isn't going anywhere. And when attaching the car seat, there are several places where it gets latched into place so you know the seat won't be popping out either.
We've used this stroller with our newborn and it is amazing. A week after a C-section, I was able to break it down and throw it into the trunk of our car myself (although carrying the carseat with baby inside was another story). At first I thought the latch that holds the stroller together when it is all folded up seemed a bit flimsy, but I haven't had any problems with it at all. I also like the fact that you can lock the front wheels into a straight forward position when you are traveling across bumpy pavement. I use this feature often since the sidewalks near where I live are not very even. I also love the extra large basket underneath. Although it is a bit more in cost, I believe this stroller is definitely worth it for the peace of mind. (Please note: this stroller only works with a Graco SnugRide)

Customer Review: Why pay more?
This is an excellent stroller for the price. We've taken it everywhere and it cruises over all of it without any problems. There is good coverage from the sun. Easy to operate foot brake. Lots of room for a growing baby. It is easy to steer due to the revolving front wheel which can be locked if necessary. I always feel sorry for people I see with the fixed three wheel strollers. Those things cant turn...
Customer Review: TERRIBLE STROLLER
I read all the reviews and decided to buy this stroller as I didnt want to spend too much money on it. When I got it I was so disappointed.
pros:
the basket in the bottom is nice and large

cons:

-it is too big and bulky
-it doesnt close all the way down
-the swivel makes tons of noise and locks into a straight position on its own because its so cheaply made.
-the tray is useless as the child doesnt sit up enough to reach it.
-its super flimzy and it feels like it is going to fall apart any minute.

I returned this right away and bought a BOB revolution... WOW!!!!!!! what a difference. IT IS DEFINETELY WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!! I love my BOB :)

Save the time and some extra money and buy a BOB instead!
